AVAILABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS

Our objective is to offer our esteemed customers a fault-free service. However, if a fault occurs in the service you should report it to the customer services (see paragraph customer services at bottom for contact details) and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.

All products advertised are subject to availability of stock. We shall try to ensure that we always stock the full product range which are in display in the website and will let you know if the product is out of stock. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular product, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are not charged for that product (see returns and refund policy). Our customer care will call you if any alternative products are available in stock and order will be processed subject to your confirmation.

In case we find any pricing error, we will at our discretion, either contact you and ask whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel your order. There would be a possibility that price may sometimes differ between AJ Jazira Stores and online; however, you will be charged the price which is displayed on official web site of Al Jazira. We are under no responsibility to honor any in-store price or promotion in the event that it differs from those on our website.

If, by mistake, we have underpriced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the product at that price. If you decide not to order the product, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy mentioned below.

The actual quantity (or weight) of fresh products (such as meat/cheese/fruit/vegetables etc.) may slightly vary depending on the actual weight.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS

Your order is an offer to purchase from us. We will send you an order confirmation e-mail detailing the products you have ordered.

We reserve the right not to accept your order, in which case we will not have any further obligation to you. We may accept the whole or part of your order, both in respect of the kind and quantity of products ordered. Once the order has been delivered and accepted by you, we no longer hold any liability or obligation. If we fail to supply a product to you and you have already paid for it, we will give you a full / partial refund of any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy.

DELIVERY OF ORDER

Delivery will be made to the address mentioned when you complete the order. At point of delivery, identity verification of the customer/his representative by sighting either an original CPR card, passport, driving license to support verification. You are requested to check both the quality and quantity of products at the time of delivery. If you find any faulty or damage products, kindly return back to the concern delivery person and immediately contact our customer care for replacement or refund.

We will make considerable effort to deliver all your products as per the slot you have booked. We shall not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control. Our customer care executives shall contact you to inform if we are having any problems getting a product to you within that time.

CANCELLING YOUR ORDER IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND

We shall cancel the order as per the request placed by the customer before dispatching the product from our store. However, amount will be returned to customer debit card / credit card account after deducting any charges levied by bank (see below for refund and return policy). We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been shipped. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by Al Jazira and accept decision regarding the cancellation.

However, if your products are damaged or they are faulty, you may return them to delivery person and obtain a refund or replacement product. Please check our returns and refunds for details of how to return them and details of our replacement and refund policy.

PAYMENTS TERMS

The payment shall be processed prior to dispatch of the product that you have ordered. If we have to cancel the order due to non-availability of items or any other reasons after we have processed the payment, the said amount will be reversed back to your card account. No cash disbursement shall be made under any condition whatsoever. Customer Payment for your products will be taken at the time you place your order. Payments are done via Benefit / credimax operating on a professional third-party cyber source payment gateway.

Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to the highest standard and held on the Cyber source Host payment gateway. You should not share your card details and password with anyone else.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

If a customer wants to return a product, get it exchanged or refunded, we want to make it as easy as possible.

If any of our products fall below the high standard you expected, we will happily refund or exchange in a reasonable time of 7 days from the date of invoice and you are requested to kindly keep original invoice for getting refund or exchange.

You are requested to kindly check both the quality and quantity of products delivered before the delivery person leaves the place. If you find any faulty or damage products, kindly return back to the concern delivery person and immediately contact to our customer care for replacement or refund.

Please preserve all items with their complete packaging and inside packaging intact if you intend to refund/return any items. No exchange or refund will be considered if the product packaging is opened. Refund will only be affected once the bank has refunded the money. It will be refunded to the respective card. Cash refund will not be made.

Due to hygiene reasons no exchange, return or refund will be offered on cosmetics, perfumes, and personal grooming products.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Al Jazira shall in no event, nor its directors, employees, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and ( iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort ( including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Force Majeure

Al Jazira is not liable for any subsequent costs or claims due to a failure to perform their obligations if such failure is as a result of all circumstances beyond their direct control, defined as but not limited to, Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, disease, virus infection, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service, cancellation or delays of travel services, suspension of business operations, or any other scenario not within the control of the Al Jazira. If Al Jazira asserts Force Majeure as a reason for failure to perform their obligation, then Al Jazira will demonstrate if and where required, that they took reasonable steps to minimise delay or damages caused by such events at all times.

Local Taxation Laws

All requirements and regulations pertaining to Taxation and charging of local taxes for Goods and Services will be applied at all times in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain applicable at that time and may be subject to change without notice as announced by the relevant local Authority. Any such changes which affect any customer order in process at the time of change will be subject to the changes and the customer will be required to pay any such incremental costs as a result of such changes. Should such changes reduce the customer’s Order value, these will be reflected by the Al Jazira at the time of final settlement in accordance with the regulations provided.

Indemnity

By accessing the website of Al Jazira, the users, persons and third parties agree and undertake to act responsibly and cause no harm, loss or damage to Al Jazira.
